How Patient Rights Administration Works
Step 1 — Register
Identity Credential Issued
MyRxWallet issues a soulbound identity credential (MyRx-ID NFT) at onboarding. This is the rights holder identifier — analogous to an ASCAP or BMI membership number.
Step 2 — Configure
Register Split Rules
Register royalty split rules on the smart contract — which data categories you authorize, which licensing modes apply, and provider co-contributor split for your longitudinal care record.
Step 3 — Receive
Automated Distribution
When an authorized institution licenses access to your data, the smart contract routes administration directly to your registered wallet, net of the DAORX administration fee, per your registered splits.
Rights Administration Fee Structure
DAORX retains a nominal administration fee on each licensed access event — analogous to the fee retained by music collection societies. The substantial majority routes to the rights holder. The fee compensates DAORX for operating identity credential infrastructure, access metering, split calculation, and on-chain audit trail. DAORX does not take custody of licensed administration. The smart contract routes directly from licensee to rights holder at the moment of the access event.
